Northern Europe Delivery

Steel fabrication should be predictable.

When documentation is late, timelines slip, or fabrication doesn't align with drawings — the project manager carries the risk. We work with contractors and EPCs who need a fabrication partner they can evaluate and rely on, not one they have to hope works out.

How we deliver

A structured process designed for predictability, documentation completeness, and clear accountability from RFQ to installation.

01

Early Technical Alignment

We review drawings, tolerances, and interfaces before fabrication begins. Misalignments are resolved upfront — not discovered during installation.

02

Documentation-First Fabrication

QA logs, WPS/WPQR, and material traceability run continuously through production. Documentation is built alongside the steel — not as an afterthought.

03

Fit-Up Ready Delivery

Assemblies arrive installation-ready with complete EN 1090 documentation packages. Your site crew can begin work immediately.

04

Single-Point Responsibility

One contact, one documentation package, one accountable party from RFQ to delivery. No finger-pointing between subcontractors.

Frequently asked questions

  • What certifications does Metup hold?

Metup holds EN 1090-2 EXC2 certification for factory production control of structural steel components, ISO 9001 quality management system certification, and EN ISO 3834 welding quality certification. Our factory production control is verified through regular third-party audits by an accredited certification body. All certifications and WPS/WPQR documentation are available upon request.

  • What documentation is included with delivery?

Every project includes a complete EN 1090 documentation package: CE declaration of performance, material certificates with full traceability, WPS/WPQR (welding procedure specifications and qualifications), QA inspection logs, dimensional inspection reports, surface treatment records, and all required compliance documentation. Documentation is built continuously during production and delivered complete on first submission.

  • What project sizes do you handle?

Our core project range is 40–100 tons, which is where we deliver the most value. We can handle projects from 10 to 200 tons. In-house production capacity is up to 100 tons per month, scalable to 200 tons per month through vetted partner facilities operating under the same quality standards.

  • Which countries do you deliver to?

Our primary delivery markets are Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. We also serve Norway, the Netherlands, and selectively other Northern European markets. Delivery logistics are coordinated as part of the project scope, including transport planning and on-site delivery scheduling.

  • How long does a typical project take?

Timeline depends on project scope, complexity, and material availability. Typical projects in the 40–100 ton range take 4–12 weeks from fabrication start to delivery. A clear timeline with milestones is provided as part of our quotation after early technical alignment.

  • Do you produce during winter?

Yes. Our production facility operates year-round, including through winter months. We have experience delivering and supporting installation in arctic conditions — including projects in Northern Norway during winter. Winter capacity availability is a key reason contractors and EPCs work with us for Nordic projects.
